Wheels Locks…..How Important Are They?

In this day and age, protecting your investments no matter how big or small they are, is a BIG deal!  Element Wheels offers all shapes and sizes of wheel locks for all makes and models of vehicles. So that this won’t happen to your ride!

Locking wheel nuts do a very good and relatively inexpensive job of protecting your rims. They work on a simple principal, one nut / bolt on each wheel is replaced by one of these, and it requires a special key to take it off.

The trick is to hide the wheel lock key somewhere inside your car where it will not be easily found, as if it is in your glove box or somewhere similar the thief could just smash a window to get to it, but at the same time, you do need it in the car, in case you need to remove the wheels for servicing.

Manufacturers are starting to fit locking wheel bolts as standard now to most cars with alloy wheels, but if your doesn’t have them, or you have purchased a nice set of aftermarket rims to enhance the look of your car, then spending another 30 to 40 dollars would be well worth it!

22″ Staggered Wheels on a 2010 Infiniti G37 Coupe

The guys at Element Wheels continue to push envelope of what is supposed to fit, and what actually fits!  Our latest endeavor was with a 2010 Infiniti G37 Coupe.  The customer came to us and said, “I want the biggest wheels that I can possibly fit on my car!”  After searching and searching, the customer finally decided to go with the 22″ Staggered Gianna Blitz in Chrome w/ Falken FK452 Tires.

Going outside the norm!

Here at Element Wheels, we embrace the challenge when customers tell us that they want their vehicle to be different from everyone else on the road.  In this instance our customer Chris L. from California said that he loved the look of the TSW Cadwell, but the sizes were not going to work for the 2002 35th Anniversary Limited Edition Camaro SS.  Since Chris was dead set on the wheel choice, he decided to have the wheels widened by a local machine shop.  Chris wanted a very specific look for the Camaro, he wanted to be able to run a 275-35-18 Nitto NT05 tire for the front and a 285-35-18 Nitto NT05 for the rear.  With the way that the wheels come from TSW (18×8 Front & 18×9 Rear) there was no way that Chris was going to achieve the look that he was going for.  That is when he decided to widen the front from a 18×8 to a 18×9.  Big up to Chris for doing whatever it takes to go outside the norm!

In this day and age, Credit Card Fraud is more prevalent than ever. We here at Element take the extra precautions for you the consumer and for us as well to protect against fraud. Along with our normal verification that we do, we also require extra verification when something seems out of the ordinary. When we process your credit card, we require that you provide your current billing address for that credit card, and that is the address that we will ship it to. The only exception is if you have a verifiable business address.

It can rob hardworking citizens of their credit score and money, and it results in unpaid bills to both the credit card company and the retail outlet where the “stolen” goods were purchased. Today, credit card fraud is more rampant than ever thanks to the Internet and the sophisticated software that criminals have developed to obtain a credit card’s data without ever getting their hands on the actual card.
