Forgestar F05 Machined Black on 2006 Infiniti M45 Sport

This local customer came to us wanting to replace his stock rims that were curbed up and not looking so hot. Turns out this customer knows the owner of the blue M35 that purchased his second set of rims from us. So thru word of mouth we gained a new customer, definately can’t complain about that! We ordered a set of the Forgestar F05 in the Machined Black finish. With Forgestar your wheels are basically made to order with a wide range of offsets, the owner can pick just about any width and offset they want which came in handy for this vehicle since he had just recently finished installing the G37 Sport Akebono brakes front and rear on his M45. This alone made a huge difference in looks and performance. The specs on this car ended up being 19×8.5 +32mm front and 19×10 +44mm rear. The tires chosen were none other than Nitto’s flagship tire, the Invo. These tires grip exceptionally well in both dry and wet conditions, are extremely quiet and have one of the coolest looking tread designs I’ve seen. The best thing about these is they arrived in only 2 weeks which is way fast compared to 3 pc wheels that can take 4-12 weeks!

Forgestar Wheels – The New Lightweight Hotness

These wheels feature lightweight 1 piece modular forged construction that bring to the table increased strength and an extremely durable lightweight wheel. Forgestar wheels are manufactured using a process called flow forming. This specialized process begins with a low pressure type of casting and uses a special machine that spins the initial casting, heats the outer portion of the casting and then uses steel rollers pressed against the rim area to pull the rim to its final width and shape. The combination of the heat, pressure and spinning create a rim area with the strength similar to a forged wheel.
